wow, i never post anymore. sorry. school is crazy. i am having such a tough time this year. i have been sick almost all semester and can barely sing, and, oh yeah, i'm a voice major. we lost the best aural training teacher in the world and now have new professors with a completely different approach to the class, and it is basically zooming over all of the sophomore music majors' heads. everything else seems to be alright, but this class is torture enough to ruin almost all aspects of my life. music is beginning to loose its fun for me. hopefully next semester is better, since i am taking a "musical theatre/opera experience" class, which is basically my voice teacher taking the list of everyone in the class and assigning us scenes from operas/musicals and we put them on at the end of the semester. its the closest thing to a musical we have. my personal life is pretty ok, emily and i are great. except for the high levels of stress(she's in all the same classes and having all the same problems). and phi mu alpha is still fun, at least it is when everyone is on the same page. my second year of college is taking a lot out of me, hopefully i make it out alive...
