This week's been a low key R&R week. I was supposed to do many things this week--my schedule was jam packed, especially on Wednesday and today--but the stormy weather (on and off again) plus a rash of cancellations has led me to going home, runnning errands, and watching the last season of That 70's Show. Oh, I will be sad when you're over, 70's. You're provided me months of wholesome family entertainment.
I might be going to see the Met Opera again in the park, but the weather forecast predicts storms on and off. Frankly, I fear travelling the subways back and forth between Manhattan and Brooklyn (or really, anywhere I can't just get out of and walk to) because, well, they're not terribly reliable to begin with. Just a few days ago, one of my coworkers was stuck in the subway because of some fire underground. Oy.
Still, it's been a nice, low key week. Considering how hectic and busy the past few have been, I can't complain.
