Wow. I missed it here. Life in the US while sometimes annoying and so much better than anywhere else.
So I've been back since late Thursday night. I had 17 hours of flying on three planes in 4 different airports before I finally landed in DFW. But it was worth it. In the time I've been home I've managed to catch a cold, get settled at my parents very empty home, get new cell phone numbers, visit the doctor and sign up for maternity card.
The amount of money that we are going to be owing people in the next few months is stagering. I've already gotten the bill from the doctor which is due at the end of May(um, he's not due for another 4 months...). I have to buy a car and have narrowed the choices down to a CR-V (my choice) or a Rav-4 (the cheaper option). Both come in between 20,000 and 25,000. I've been apartment hunting all day and have only found one place that was even decent. It was 20 years old but in a nice area and only 755 for the big 2 bedroom. Just thinking about all this makes me dizzy (or is that my pregnancy anemia?)
Derek is already sounding miserable in Germany. I want to tell him to just drop everything and come home. I mean, we can be together, he can get a job a whole month early and thereby make that much more money. I can't see why he's even there except to make himself feel better about ditching out of the Fulbright early.
What else? Oh, I'm huge. Sometimes this translates into cute and pregnant and at other times it translates into FAT. Zach is bound to be tone deaf and a football star. He's always on the move which I actually love. Except for that now he has learned how to bounce on my bladder thus making me have to immediately pee (TMI?)
So that's life for now. I get to spend all of tomorrow with my ADORABLE niece since her mommy is out of town on business. Friday is my first girls night and I can't wait for that. The only things that would make life better is a million dollars and my hubby!
