Oh my God, I am have the most fantastic day!
Let's count down the things that are making today amazing:
1. woke up this morning for the first time this week feeling well. I"ve been battling a serious stomach bug this week and for the first time today I felt the urge to eat solid food again. HOORAY!!!
2. Derek and I went into Koln this morning and took a look at an apartment. It's a total hit. A bit expensive but everything is included (we won't have any bills!) and it's a hop skip and...well that's it..from the Hochschule. And the neighborhood is so cute! I'm in love. So two weeks from today we will be saying goodbye to Bornheim and moving to the big city. Words cannot express...
3. Last night we got the wireless internet working so this entry is being typed, not on Herr Muller's laptop, but on our own laptop in OUR ROOM! That's right kids, we have internet in our room now. Which means that my facebook pic has been updated and I can now download things on itunes at my leisure!
4. Speaking of itunes, I just checked and the first (I hope) of many Christ Church Complines is up! Seriously, I think the only thing I miss about the US more than Bella is Christ Church. I really think that I might light some candles tonight and have my own little service in my room.
Ok, time to let Derek use the computer. He is sitting the to corner reading but he keeps sighing which I'm sure is code for "Laura, it's been over 6 hours since I last checked my email and I'm about to explode". hehe...silly boy.
