(no subject)
Ach, Ich bin sehr möde.
This weekend was a blast. Köln was fun but a bit of a let down. It's so schmutzig and there are a thousand tourists around. But still it has it's liite nooks where it seems somewhat local. I'll stick to those thank you very much. You can have you're Kölner Dom with all the Asians.
Rotterndam was a blur. We got there around noon on Saturday. Sat in on a masterclass and then went to Amsterdam with the voice students. Walked around a bit, sat on the sidwalk and drank beer. Had Döners for dinner. Then Sylvia and I got REALLY high (actually Sylvia just got a little high. I got completely messed up) and we went home. I don't remember much after that. Except for freaking out in the train station and then being scared of walking on some sidewalk and crying while Doug held my hand. Help me.
Sunday, we walked around a bit and then went to the concert. The Schönburg was amazing and the Beethoven was pretty good too. The orchestra sucked in rehearsal but pulled it together for the performance. Then after a long overnight train ride home we arrive in Kiel Monday morning and went straight to class.
Tomorrow our class is going on a fieldtrip to Hamburg. Our afternoon teacher is going to be there in the morning so rather than her coming back to Kiel we are taking class to her. She is going to give us a tour of the city (she is so great with History and cultural things so it should be good) and then we are all going to have dinner in some little known but apparently fabulous resturant. Then it'll be back to Kiel in the evening. Should be a fun day.
This time next week we'll be done with Deutschkurs. I'll actually be really, really sad to leave Kiel. I love it here. It's so refreshingly clean and just overall a pleasant place to be. I don't want to go to the Müller's. Blah.
