(no subject)
This week has been so long! I've been training Natasha which has been going well. I'm a bit surprised at how little she knows about computers. She's used to using a Mac so that explains a little bit of it but even simple things that are the same from system to system (like changing the font color in Word) she was unsure about. She'll get better and better as time goes by though and I have to realize that I'm more proficient than most people and be patient.
Stephen's is going well even though I'm not really into the show. I mean it's REALLY good and a lot of fun but at this point I would just rather be at home. I have a huge pile of laundry that needs to be done and more than anything I just want time to myself. Oh well. Today is our last day. Then it's one more week of work (Friday is my last day) and then a week of packing, a trip to Atlanta and off to Germany from there!
The plan for this week is to have a Desperate Housewives Season 2 marathon. Should be fun.
My cold has subsided but I still have a bit of congestion. However it hasn't really effected my voice this weekend which is good.
Other than that things are winding down here in New Haven. I'm ready to leave. Every time I drive around the city I think "God I'm ready to move." I feel like I'm in a place where I'm ready to say goodbye to most of my friends (or have already said goodbye as is the case with most of them). I remember feeling this way when we moved here however it started much earlier then. When you know that a new chapter of your life is about to begin there is nothing worse than sitting around waiting for it to start. I'm just ready to move on. Deutschland is calling me.
