Ok, managed to fix the iPod. I had to download an iPod updater and reset the iPod to factory settings. This deleted everything from the iPod and let me start from scratch (including renaming it). Thank goodness. The nice thing is that now I can start over again with my playlists and get rid of things that I never listened to!
I have to worse cramps. I actually want to die a little. Perhaps I'll take a half day and go home and snuggle with my heating pad. That would be nice. It's supposed to rain this afternoon anyway so it'd be nice to be at home. Regardless of what I do, I HAVE to go to the gym today. I don't care home I feel I will be spending 45 minutes on the eliptical trainer. I ate SO badly this weekend and drank SO MUCH BEER! This week will be strict Slim Fast and excercising.
Had a good weekend. Took Derek and Ian to the airport on Saturday morning. It rained the whole time. Blech. Then went and sang at Vince's church. Everyone was there so it was quite fun. Afterwards we all went to bar for Pizza and beer. That was followed by a trip to the Mothership to see Nick and then to Anna Liffey's for Kate's B-day.
Yesterday, Nick, Holland, Sylvia, Marisa, and Dan all came over to work on Stephen's. It was quite a day. We ate Chinese and waxed poetic about our favorite Sondheim pieces. After 7 hours we finally have a program. I'm singing some good stuff! With Derek Kiss Me from Sweeney, and As Long As You're Mine from Wicked. Also, Move on and Sunday in the Park with George from Sunday in the Park with George, Popular and For Good from Wicked, No One is Alone from Into the Woods, and Getting Married and You Could Drive a Person Crazy from Company. It looks like a really good show and I'm really excited to start working on it. I hope we can pull in good crowds.
After we got everything in order Holland and Nick and I went to see The Breakup. It was good. Some really funny moments most of them involving John Michael Higgins who plays Jen's character's brother who is "not gay." Although it made me sad because the thing that broke them up is the thing that is the biggest problem in Derek's and my relationship. It was just sad and made me want to hug him. But of course I couldn't because he is in California. Grrrr....
Tonight I've got to do some laundry. I need to clean out my dresser and get rid of some clothes that I don't wear. I have so many clothes stuffed into my dresser drawers that I can't fit clean clothes in when I do laundry. So this week my plan is to clean everything out (including my closet which is a mess). Sounds fun, huh?
