(no subject)
OK, so I WAS going to take the day off. Derek is off to California for a week tomorrow and we had a big fight last night so I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible before he leaves. But I realized this morning that I had a meeting with our director at 10am. So I came in. Well I just got an email from his assistant saying that he was going to have to reschedule for next week.
Now what should I do? We technically have a staff meeting at 2 but I think it's fairly low key. Is it really worth me sticking around for? Our car is at the shop so I guess theres no hope of getting home now. It would have been so nice to have had this information at 8am so that I could have had the Honda van take us home where we could have snuggled until it was time to go pick the car back up.
