Well kids, My self imposed exile from the world of LJ turned into a 7 week exercise in living and working. I must say that the outside world was neither rewarding nor boring...Just like the web. I've met new people, actually dated and got drunk and high for the first time in 15 or so years. Felt bloody marvelous I must say and I can't wait to do it again with my co workers. I'm actually trying to date a co-worker... I know, I know... DON'T dip your pen in company "ink" but she's an ex callgirl/stripper and is tough as nails. I like her spirit and I think we are getting on swimmingly well as friends so far. I won't prolly fall in love with her, but she and I should get on like a house on fire and she's a good person to be around.
As for the job, I'm getting good at telling people there is NO WAY that they can get a refund unless they kiss my ass. Heh... I hope none of you folx call my bank asking for a refund. The PoPsie site is coming along pretty well and we are courting offers from a few different book publishers. If you folx are near a book store, check out the new book by Bruce Spizer featuring our Beatle Photos (the Beatles in America) that I edited and retouched... I feel like a mini celebrity !!! He had a big shindig in NYC at the hard rock with Dr. Joyce showing off the book.
Anyway, I'm done trying to only live in one world or the other, so it's back to more LJ bullshit and I'll keep you kidz posted on life in the great metropolis known as Las Vegas and my trials and tribulations... And if I ever want to disappear from here again, TALK ME OUT OF IT !!!
