This is how I remember it:
Patti got crushed between the stage and the baricade when the crowd collapsed the baricade during Patent Pendings set. She couldn't get out because the weight of the crowd was crushing the barricade into her. I litteraly had to run across the stage and pull her out from behind. We had to spend some time at the first aid area cuz her legs got pretty banged up. Ted who runs that stage got his knee dislocated and 2 security guys had to go to the hospital. Seriously it was really scary. I will never forget the look on Patti's face as she was trying to lift the barricade off her and couldn't move from the weight of the crowd. She was screaming for people to get off her but they couldn't move. I don't know where I got the strength to pull her out and practically carry her to first aid. I don't even think anyone realized she got hurt or that i had carried her away. As we were trying to get to first aid we could hear them calling for ambulances. At first aid they got her water and ice for her legs. Patti would only sit for about 30 minutes, she was pretty shaken up for a while but then she got out her schedule and said she needed to get back to work. Props for that. Her injuries did make it really difficult for her to work the next day at Scranton especially since the venue was literally on the side of a mountain.
Pics from before and during the incident
Just before the crowd collapsed the barricade-Patt is on the right in the photo pit
This is just as the crowd fell into the stage. Patti is trapped just past the guy bent back onto the stage who got his knee dislocated. They were both trapped by the weight of the crowd for several minutes. People behind the first rows didn't realize what happened and then couldn't move back so everyones weight is on the people trapped between the collapsed barricade and the stage.
The backs of Patti's legs the next day the front of her legs were scraped and bruised as well.
3 days later this is what the back of Patti's leg looks like:
How Joe remembers things (minus Patti as he apparenlty doesn't have any female action figures)

WE LOVE PATENT PENDING!!! Seriously the only people to blame for this are the venue security who wouldn't listen or do what needed to be done the make sure everyone was safe. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt and we will see you in Long Island when PP plays w/ Andrew W K in a few weeks.
