(no subject)
Wow- this summer has sped by. It's so strange- sometimes it doesn't even feel like it's summer. I'll run into people in random places and it seems like I just saw them yesterday, not over a month ago! Hudson is certainly different from New Jersey in that you run into someone you know no matter where you go (even if it's 2:30 am after the midnight showing of Batman.)
I've kind of been obsessing about college lately. I've actually started filling out some applications! I'm so afraid I won't have enough time to do everything when school starts, especially now that I'm working at Luchita's and Hudson's. It's great that I have more hours now, but I'm afraid it's gonna slap me in the face when school starts. Here are the schools I'm interested in:
Elon (NC)
Miami (OH)
U Virginia (VA)
Northeastern (MA)
Boston U (MA)
I'm going to visit BU and Northeastern when we go to Cape Cod in August. I love Boston and definitely want to head up there after college, if not for college. The schools there are just so expensive, though! Sighh.
Anyways- enough about college. Jack left this morning. He'll be with my dad in Florida till August 5. Well that just sucks. When I was complaining about it last night, he said, "Sarah, what's the big deal. It's not like we ever see each other anyways." ....Still. I miss him. The house is no fun with Hannah and Emma. Michael's gone at orientation, too. Sighh. All the men in my life!
Basically I've just been eating, sleeping, working, writing (ahh wayy too much summer homework!) and doing pilates (so much fun!) I need to get everything done before we head to Chatham. No way am I doing work there. I can't wait for the beach. I've never gone this long in my entire life without seeing a beach! That's what you get from living on the west coast, east coast, then heading to the midwest. Oceannn. I miss youuu.
