Mini-Complaint
Okay, so Much Ado About Nothing went incredibly well. Look at Facebook for pictures. I will probably post another entry later describing my experience, but right now it is late, and I want to complain.
So, during Much Ado strike my throat started itching, and now it's basically full on sore. Today I had auditions for tick, tick…BOOM. Now, I know I can sing that show, and I really wanted to get into it. However due to my throat, I cracked the top note in my audition song.
I just want to beg, "Dear voice, why must you want to kill me now?" Sigh.
So unless some crazy miracle happens, I am almost positive I am not getting a callback for that show. Which is a shame, because I am almost sure I could show well at the callback. Damn. I'll keep hoping, although I really have no illusions. It was a long shot anyway, since there there are only two female roles.
Well, I'll just hope that I can get into Chicago.
