Mistrust & Mistreatment: A Lost Blog
I can't really think of anything to say to introduce this, either becuz I HAD an idea for an intro but forgot to write it down so I've been trying to pull one out of my as...astute brain LOL...or becuz there are just no words...
**WARNING: Spoilers & all that good stuff**
~ Knew from spoilers that Locke's dad was the man who conned Sawyer's mom into giving him $, which indirectedly caused his parents' death when his dad shot his cheating wife then turned the gun on himself). However, it was pure common sense that it was Locke's dad who had the bag over his had, not Ben. Ya could tell Locke had enough motivation (Ben's words plus the fact his dad's just evil lol) to kill him, but he probably couldn't because, well, he's his dad. And he tried to trick Sawyer into thinking it was Ben, but in case he couldn't he could exploit Sawyer's connection to his dead ol' dad. What surprised me is the fact that Sawyer actually did it! Which brings me to my next thought...
~ Altho Locke's dad was a diabolical bastard, I have mixed feelings about his death: The scene seemed a bit too intense & gruesome for me (Welcome to the 11pm timeslot! lol). Also, I thought Sawyer had turned over a new leaf (or at least tried to, with all the Aaron-holding & merriment-making he did in that 1 episode lol) Then again, Sawyer HAD been gunning for this man for most of his life PLUS the @$$hole was asking for it. Locke's dad was goating him on, & ripped up that letter that Sawyer based his whole life around giving to him, all w/o batting an eye (Not to mention the complete lack of remorse for all he did to his OWN son!!). So can ya really blame Sawyer for taking that man's life? I'm not sure if I can...
~ Jack's been really annoying me lately. It's not the fact he's getting all chummy with Juliet (I'm a Skate fan, not a Jate fan lol). He'd j/ better reveal he's either a backstabber or that he & Juls have a plan to take down Ben the Baddy. I mean, "We'd better tell her." Tell Kate...what? That drove me up one wall & down the other!
~ Locke: Good or bad? YOU decide!! Me? I honestly dunno. What I DO know is that he's neither good nor bad when it comes to taking sides. Altho he gave Sawyer that incriminating tape in which Juliet was feeding all that info to Ben, that might end up benefitting the Others somehow, moreso than the survivors (Ben might've directly or indirectly given it to him). But none of that really matters. Locke seems rather neutral rite now, not looking out for any1 but numero uno...& the island. Nothing matters but his obsession with it . Locke+Island=LOOOOOVE!! <3 LOL
p.s.~ Does any1 else think that throwing Rousseau into a scene was a nice touch?! Can you IMAGINE what must've been going through her mind when she walked in on Locke with Sawyer screaming at him in the background? AWESOME!! LOL & What was the dynamite for, anyway...?
