I decided for the 100 Things Challenge, that I wanted to do two different Challenges.

Neither Will be in any order, so I will just randomly list Favorites. Lets begin...

Played by James Maitland Stewart aka Jimmy Stewart
Elwood P. Dowd "is a mild-mannered, pleasant man, who just happens to have an invisible friend resembling a 6-foot rabbit." He is "Crazy" according to others, and yet his crazy makes more sense than any other character in the movie. He is a man who believes in doing what you love to do, and treating everyone with the respect that everyone deserves. Fond of bars, and those who are often in bars, he makes lots of random strange friends, but he never once judges them. His love for humanity and life is what makes him one of my favorite characters. He is a simple minded man who everyone thinks is wrong in his way of life, yet through out the movie you come to find, his simple mindedness is what makes him smarter than any other person. I find his character gives the message that happiness, and joy are what life is all about and what society finds important, is truly insignificant compared to love and kindness.
How can you not love a man who says these things...

I grew up listening to this album, ever since my sister Alex decided she wanted to be a "Hippie" when she grew up. She was 14 at the time making me 12. She loved The Grateful Dead and always played it, and since i wanted to be just like her I would always steal her music, and although neither of us want to be a "Hippie" now I still love The Grateful Dead and their amazing music. Not only is this a phenomenal album, but it also reminds me of simpler days when I would spend the whole day with my sister thinking these were the best days ever. It is one of those albums that always makes me want to dance and sing. But more importantly it always puts a huge smile on my face. I guess it reminds me of simpler times.
