Question...
Okay, so lj-friendslist, time to help me out with something. I'm looking for people's opinions here :) Here goes:
After 4 years of being on Verizon (2 2-year contracts), my contract is up this summer (August). After the debacle in October when I lost my phone and then subsequently went through 5 other handsets from Verizon, and the fact that they cripple their phones, I'm seriously considering switching to Cingular (the rest of my family is on Cingular, thus saving much $). Plus, I'm looking into studying a year in London from 2008-9, so having a GSM handset would be a huge asset.
So, my question is, what cell phone providers do all of you out there in lj-ville use? (I'm curious as to how my usage will change if I switch providers) Also, how do you feel about said providers, and how is your coverage? (specifically those of you in the Buffalo area--I have no idea how Cingular's service is around Buffalo) How is Customer Service? Any and all info would be greatly appreciated--horror stories included.
