MONSTER update
i woke up with the power out,
not really something to shout about.
Wednesday night: they called for a major ice storm. So I charged up my camera, went to tap class, and then headed to my mom's apartment.

Thursday:I woke up that morning and there was lots of ice and my dad called and said that he didn't have power. My mom's apartment did though..so I decided to stay there. School was cancelled.

Then the power went out at my moms. So basically we had no food or showers or anything. The roads weren't too bad though. So me, Paige, Natalie, Amber, and Katie went to eat at Applebees. None of us had power. Then we went to Natalie's house and watched home movies because her dad had hooked a generator up to their tv and some heaters in their living room. Then I called Elizabeth (she had power this whole time but was too busy spending time with Austin). I said "Elizabeth, we are coming over"..that way she couldn't say no. Plus her mom said it was fine. So Natalie and I went to Wendys to get some food because we had no power to make anything.
That is uptown. You know the pictures I showed you up there??..with the christmas lights and stuff?? Well this is how the streets looked without power.

We finally made it to Elizabeths. We did lots of girly things. I mean LOTS of GIRLY things. We even watched Oprah!

Then I took a nice warm shower and we slept in a warm house and everything was nice.
Friday:We woke up and it was sooo pretty outside.
Elizabeth lives on a farm
My dad couldn't take sitting in a cold house staring at the fire place much longer. We still had no power. So, we called up my cousin who lives in the mountains of South Carolina, and he said we could stay with them a night. I had lots of fun. His wife is Japanese and he has two children whom I've posted a picture of before. They only have Japanese satellite tv, no American cable..so we watched Japanese tv all night and drank green tea and ate rice. It was quite the experience.

Saturday:
My dad and I left Steve's house and started to come back to NC. We got here and the power came on after about two hours. YAYYY. Hannah came over and we talked. She's having a Christmas party tonight and I'm gonig to that later.
