This was one of the many crossing signs I saw as I was driving (yes, I was driving) on country roads in upstate New York for 3 hours. It was pretty exciting, but I didn't actually see any horse and buggy cross the road, or a wheelchair or snowmobile crossing either for that matter.
Crane was pretty awesome. I think I like it and might consider going there. I don't know where it stands on the list though because it was the first one I visited.
Pros:
-very good music school with music ed
-nice campus; not too big, not too small
-dorms and townhouses are nice
-freshmen can have cars
-stuff to do on campus
-nice classrooms, practice rooms, and halls
-way cheap/ bunch of scholarships
Cons:
-gets to -30 degrees in the winter
-lots of snow
-kind of in the middle of nowhere
-the town is literally one block
-7 hour drive, about 3 of which are on little country roads
Overall, I really liked it though. And I liked driving. Today I drove by myself to the nursing home! I think that's like a hugee moment in history. Mark it in the books.
Break is almost over. And it makes me sad. I love going out like everyday of the week, doing spontaneous things, not having to worry about planning. This break was very enjoyable, kind of can't wait till summer vacation :)
