New Levels of Obsession (even for me)
As the title proclaims - I am now a complete obsessive fan. Of Harry Potter. And also of WROCK.
This, for the uninitiated, is Wizard Rock. Songs. About Harry Potter. By over 200 bands with names like "Harry and the Potters", "The Moaning Myrtles", "The Parselmouths".
My fandom contribution doesn't stop there though, Potter Recs will be launching at the beginning of next month, and so will our ezine, "Cauldrons and Chocolate Frogs" (I decided against Potter Pourri :P Sorry Ozma). Also I just put in an order for The Leaky Cauldron "Jingle Spells" Christmas compilation and have only just stopped squeeing...The Moaning Myrtles, Catchlove, The Parselmouths, Harry and the Potters, Ministry of Magic, Gred and Forge, The Remus Lupins, Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls...I can't WAIT until next month when it will arrive... *jumps up and down*
I'm sorry, but if you haven't already, you have to visit the link and listen to the Parselmouths' version of Santa Baby - "Voldy Baby". I swear it. It is AMAZING. (Not to mention they asked for a Nimbus Two Thousand and Two instead of a '54 convertible. They are SO CLASS.)
