So yah, anyone who has studied body mapping would have a heart attack watching Vivica Genaux sing, but her sound is AMAZING.
-jaw jetting foward
-upper lip riding up
-moving the body up on higher notes
-"arm structures"(shoulders) moving up and down
-lips vibrating on long held notes, which means there's tension
-jaw ticking on colortura
-not to mention the crazy vibrating thing going on on the runs....I've never seen anything like that!
But her musicianship is amazing and her phrasing is gorgeous. OMG. you must watch:

Her faces creep me out and sometimes i have no fuckin clue what shapes she's making with her mouth but her coloratura is pretty amazing.
