[just squattin' in the bushes]
So, I just got back home a couple hours ago from my camping weekend with a huge group of friends, which turned out to be much more of a "camping experience" than I was originally gunning for ;D
I PEED IN THE BUSHES GUYZ!!
We were in the middle of fucking NOWHERE, so we all had to. Fun times, srsly. All the guys were all, "Suck it up, girls. It's not that bad" and the rest of us were all, "Yeah, well we can't just point and shoot. For us it's a TAD more complicated, you dicksmacks" and there was much good-natured bickering about it the whole time.
I am now, however, showered and in clean clothes that don't smell like the firepit, and trying to catch up on the good ol' flist. You guys sure do talk a lot when I'm gone, huh? I don't mind, though, since it's about happy things like Jared's giant trousersnake, Sam/Dean schmoopy shenanigans, and bandom adorableness, YAY! \o/
But, of course, there's also less happy things, like the LJ/Six Apart brouhaha, which up until now I've mostly been dealing with according to the tried and true, "Maybe if I close my eyes and cover my ears it'll GO AWAY" method. But, it's becoming apparent that some of you are going elsewhere, and a lot of you are setting up separate accounts, just in case, and I figure I probably should take a few preventative measures just in case too.
So unless I say otherwise, I'm gonna be "musical_emjay" on GreatestJournal and InsaneJournal, and hopefully on JournalFen too. I'll probably do what a lot of you smart folks have been doing and transfer my journal over to all those places and simultaneously post to all three, because that seems like the best option, but if not I'll let you know.
*SIGH* I hate that it's coming to this, but I'm hideously paranoid and can thus definitely imagine a future where LJ will say, "FUCK THIS NOISE" and ban the lot of us. Since my primary fandom seems to be pinging on the BIG NO-NO radar with regards to content, I'd rather be safe than sorry. BLEH. BLEH. BLEH.
