It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times Part II

So, on with what happened last week with my friends! If you wnat to read the first part, you can read it here

On Tuesday, it was my brother's birthday, he was 18, so it was a big one! We got up at some ungodly hour of the morning, like 9am or something! He opened his presents and the usual birthday stuff and opened all of his cards (there were so many) and he got sooooo much money, I think by the end of the day he ended up with over £400! And he wouldn't even share any with me! Some brother he is... only jokin, I love my brother really!

Me and Emily and Sophie decided to make him a birthday cake. We went shopping in the early afternoon for ingredients and stuff, we made him a Chelsea (an English football team) cake. Seeing as their main colour is blue, we decided to make the cake blue all the way through.

We  made the cake mix and everything was going well, until we realised it wasn't blue enough (after having put two bottles of food colouring in it already). Me and Emily went out in search of some more blue colouring, but couldn't find any, in the ned we phoned my mum and asked her to buy some while she was out shopping and that's just what she did.

About 3 hours nad another two bottles of food colouring later we had baked the cake and set about icing it. Man, that took ages, having to cut all of the little pieces out of fondant icing. Emily did most of that and she did a fine job of it! Towards the end we all started to get a bit pissed off with it, because the icing went all gloopy and wasn't doing what it was supposed to. But in the end it turned out fine!

Later that afternoon, my brother's friends came over for a party, there were like 25, 18 year old boys in my house from around 6pm until 1am the next day! Anyways they all started to arrive and my dad started up the barbeque. After a while we ate and went at sat at the end of the garden, when my brother's friends were all sitting further up the garden closer to the door. One of my brother's friends came over and started to talk to me, he goes used to go to my school and he used to play football with my brother, so we've known each other forever.

And he's had this running joke for ages that he's going to marry me. My friend Sophie was all 'OMG' when he said this, but I knew he was joking. Anywho, Sophie thought he was serious and like didn't leave my side whenever he was near me. This went on for around 2 hours, but the funniest thing was when she and him were arguing about me and how marrying me is illegal (I'm 14, he's 18). She had pushed me into a corner and wouldn't let me out. But she got so into the arguement she stepped away from me, so I took that as my cue to leave, so I walked out from behind her and she didn't even notice until I was on the other side making funny faces at her! It was soo funny!

After this we watched the byos play SingStar, then the three of us got roped into playing. We were put onto teams and they'd randomly sleect two people to sing against each other. it selected me and my brother, everybody went 'ooooooooh'. Then it sleected a song and the song was Mr Brightside by The Killers, one of my all-time favourites, it was neck and neck for a while, but then I pulled ahead and beat him! Yay me! After that the singing went on for quite a while until about midnight then we retired to bed.

On wednesday Sophie and myself met up with a couple of my friends and went to Camden. We shopped around for a bit, but then we got bored. So went to Leicester Square, but then we got bored there, so we went to Covent Garden, on the way to which we got lost! We watched a street performer in Covent Garden and it was good but he talked waaaaay too much. Sophie said after we watched him 'He owes me 27(?) minutes of my life' it was funny because it was true! We went into a few music shops and we were on the search for Viva La Cobra by Cobra Starship, but everywhere either had no copies or it cost way too much. I was also looking for a Panic poster, but the only one I found was of Fever era and it was only Brendon, I wanted the whole band in the Pretty. Odd. era. I decided to buy both things online. After that we went and ate some Chinese food, it was good. After that we went back home.

On Thursday nothing much happened, we watched Life On The Murder Scene and a bit of  The Black Parade Is Dead!

On Friday we (Emily, sophie, me and my brother) went to see Hellboy II : The Golden Army. Emily and i had seen it already, on that one preview day about 3 weeks before. We got there about 5 minutes late, but the film was still awesome!

On saturday we took Emily and Sophie back home. We got to their house and ate and watched The Mighty Boosh Live, it was funny :P. After that we played Scrabble with my dad and Sophie's gran. It was good, I won. Both times! Then Emily came in and she had the awesome idea of doing an MCR related  Scrabble board, it was sooo much fun. Towards the end though we only had random letters left so the words became a bit obscure, like we had the word pea, because Gerard like chickpea curry! I'll post a picture another time, I can't find the cable to connect my phone to the computer atm.

But all in all our week was in one word, EPIC! As always we had loads of fun and loads of laughs! Can't wait until we do it again, eh girls!?

Woah, mega long entry!

party, holidays, hellboy 2, birthdays, fun
