But! It is that time of year where a young man's fancy turns to thoughts of love, and a young cartoonist must fancy to shamelessly promote himself. So. Here is some information for you about Jellaby: Monster in the City that should be read IMMEDIATELY. It will be in finer comic and bookstores everywhere on April 21. And as noted in that post, I will also have a couple of Jellaby stories in the Free Comic Book Day Comics Festival 2009 book! Also, maybe a Jellaby story in Flight 6 as well? But who knows about that, because I don't think the lineup has even been finalized just yet.
Um, what else. I will be leaving for Houston in a little over 30 hours, which will officially kick off the appearance/convention circuit for me, and I am nowhere near prepared. I am excited that the organizers have paired me up with my Korean brother (ps. I AM NOT KOREAN) for a couple of panels that will allow us to properly corrupt the minds of many youths all in one fell swoop. Also: will be eating at a restaurant that serves grasshoppers. I am unbelievably excited for THAT.
I signed up for a cell phone today. I haven't had one since 2001, after I had sworn off ever using one again. It is pink. The end times are approaching.
