How Bittersweet a Day can be (if you are as dramatic as I am at times)

So, today was a wonderfully productive day.  I woke up on Josh's floor (I slept there intentionally and without the influence of alcohol, BTW) at 9 am and headed home to an empty house.  Ahhhhh, the potential of an empty house.  Running around in your underwear while you attempt to fold the clean laundry that you left on your bedroom floor two weeks ago.  Cleaning the shower because nobody else "has the time" to do it.  Vacuuming up all of the hay and bunny hairs that have found their ways into the nooks and crannies of the tiny apartment.  And last, but not least, the ability to make things the way you want them to be....and for them to STAY that way if you do so choose.... back to that later.

So, today was my hang-out day with Carrie.  It was a good time.  I got up, finished cleaning the apartment while jammin to a little Hairspray and High School Musical (they are upbeat, okay?)  Then I took a quick shower and changed into my work out gear (yes, I  know that seems a little odd, but go with it) and headed to meet Carrie at the CCRB.  Strangely enough, we arrived there at virtually the same time 20 min later than we had planned to meet. Then we came home and cooked.  I love veggies and chicken! and we topped the night off with The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.  I thought it was a wonderful movie.

So, this whole day with a good friend will always make me a little uncomfortable because there is this weird tension between us.  Before break we talked about the possibility of dating...which would be cool....but I have this superficial complex that won't allow me to go anywhere beyond my usual comfort zone.  I know we would be good for eachother, but sometimes I cringe at the idea while others I think about it with butterflies in my stomach.  What is wrong with me???
