I Am Done With Finals
*sigh of relief*
I'm going home on Saturday. These are my thoughts on this.
Things I Will Miss About Hofstra While I'm Gone:
1. Seeing my friends here
2. Being so close to NYC
3. The faster internet connection
4. The non-presence of my brother
5. The slightly warmer temperature
6. The Leiden Mouse (what? It was cute)
7. The bathroom (if you saw the one at my house, you'd understand)
Things I Will Not Miss:
1. Not being able to see my mom
2. Not being able to see my friends at home
3. The wind chill factor
4. The enormous amount of rain
5. My roommate coming back drunk at odd hours of the night
6. The fact that every time someone uses the mircrowave, it makes the common room smell like smoke ever since my roommate forgot to put water in her EasyMac
7. My suitemate's poster of Britney Spears
So, overall with pure facts, pretty even. But I'm happy to go home, because it's a nice break from stuff. And also it's nice to be there for more than just a weekend. That way, I can actually *see* my friends there and stuff. Who I haven't seen in awhile.
Things that need to be done when I get home (in no particular order):
1. Go shopping with my mom
2. Have the annual LOTR party with Amy :D
3. Do *something* with Erica (I'm not sure what yet)
4. Go to Friday's with my mom and show here the wonderfulness of a Gold Meldalist (it's a drink with Strawberry Puree, banana, and Pina Colata mix, and no alcohol)
Not sure what else right now.
Oh, and on a final note, I love my mom.
