two words: andre agassi. somehow, i can't get enough of this guy. neither can the tennis writers and the 20,000+ spectators at arthur ashe stadium. he's so courageous because even though his back hurts more than i can imagine, he still puts everything he has on the court. i can only sit/stand back and watch in awe as he runs for every shot as if it's his last. he surely doesn't seem like a man who's going retire; he can pack out the punches against the younger "tougher and faster" guys. the five setters he's won just add to the person he is--a guy who puts his heart and soul into winning every point no matter how tough the situation. from his hairy days to his bald days, he's certainly given us a lot to look back on, such as his '92 wimbledon final, '99 french open final, and '05 u.s open quarterfinal.
and so i return to school tomorrow. with all the great food i got to eat and all the tennis, movies, and tv shows i got to watch, summer has never been sweeter.
