knowing how much of a tv freak i am, i looked up the fall schedules from the five main networks (abc, cbs, nbc, fox, and the [new] cw). and i found out that fox has the best split between the comedies and the dramas (about 6-7 each) while the other four networks each have at least 10 dramas and 4 comedies. and at least one reality show on each network. which shows that comedies are much harder to write and act well as opposed to those in dramas. with 3 csi's, 3 law & order's, and all the shows that resemble them, there really aren't too many shows we haven't seen. how many of these new shows will actually live a full season? so many actors will be jobless after they realize how many people actually watch their shows. but every job's competition. i guess that's how life goes.

some interesting new shows: studio 60 on the sunset strip, 30 rock, heroes, day break, traveler, runaway, twenty good years, friday night lights, the nine, six degrees, vanished. i wonder which ones will last.
