this weekend was pretty nice. roommate was gone for most/all of it (she went to boston and is stuck there for now) so i got the room all to myself. i got to watch the olympics opening ceremony in some nice girl's room (she has the cutest tv) and eat fondue when we got bored of the countries walking by. i got to watch the vagina monologues--funny yet slightly disturbing, though it makes sense why it's shown at a woman's college. i got to eat at panera bread. which is kind of like the atlanta bread company. and walmart really is separate from hampshire mall--so there really is a target and best buy there (not only at holyoke mall). i got to hear other roommate stories. got to shop for decorations. still no single but lots of open doubles. though michelle kwan most likely will never win olympic gold, she's remembered for her consistency in the sport for the past decade. kind of like mariah carey when she didn't win the major grammys. i think ms. kwan wasn't meant to win the gold medal so that she could truly show the world what a champion she is (43 medals in total, if i remember correctly). tara lipinski and sarah hughes weren't here long enough for what michelle kwan accomplished since after those two won olympic gold, they stopped competing. and it snowed today.
