(no subject)
back at smith...and it's just weird. my cell phone's still disconnected so every number i call just keeps ringing without any response. my predictions of the australian open finals were quite accurate for the most part: china won its first grand slam title in women's doubles (after saving two match points against the number 1s), mauresmo finally won her first grand slam title even though three of her seven matches included her opponents retiring (including her championship match against henin-hardenne), crazy man federer still won his seventh grand slam title even though cyprus boy baghdatis did have a good change to take at least two sets off swiss man (cyprus boy did take one set though), hingis won her first mixed doubles title (even after retirement), and the bryan brothers finally won their men's doubles title after two straight years of runners-ups.
roommate's still a wild boar. i was attempting to sleep last night at past midnight while her music (mind you it's outcast and some other hip hop bands), lights, and her friend from across the hall had to talk in the room i was attempting to grab some z's at. after two hours of lying on my bed, i think i finallly fell asleep. but that was after shutting off her music (since she wasn't in the room anyways). i still have no single. i still wonder why i have to move from her rather than the other way around, but it's probably better this way--except i won't be 2 minutes from seelye. and not much to do on a Sunday morning. right. and my luggage got delayed coming here because the flight from san francisco to chicago ohare got delayed. Jodi and i literally got on the plane to hartford four minutes before the doors closed. but hopefully it'll come today. but will it come despite no post on sundays? we'll see.
and all i can think about is home, good food, and lovely hugs. it's a new beginning yet a continuem (sp?).
