normal is quite a disturbing yet thought-provoking movie. what does it mean to be normal? is it to be what everyone else expects you to be? does it really matter if the person's a homosexual? the point of finding a spouse is (probably) to have sex and produce babies...which doesn't make sense if you're a homosexual. but love for the person really is for the person. that love doesn't necessarily mean about the gender of the person. so i guess age doesn't matter too much either.
i really admire athletes. like lance armstrong, andre agassi, lindsay davenport. they really don't give up. i do wonder if they get tired of all the training. but somehow, they all end up winning more than losing. i wonder how they knew they would do this profession for decades since they were kids. did they want another job? is the whole point to be remembered by others or to enjoy oneself?
