NERDHEAD is a new group made up of Giorgio Cancemi (Producer/MC/Lyricist/Composer/Arranger/Mixer), So-Hey! (Violinist), and Yamada Hirokazu (Pianist/Keyboard). Giorgio was previously part of the Urban-pop duo So'Fly with singer TOKO, but the two decided to pursue solo acts. I'm not sure on the backgrounds of So-Hey! or Yamada Hirokazu, however.
I'm not too fond of the opening of WHERE'S THE LOVE?, but getting past the first 25 seconds, I really enjoy this song. It reminds me a lot lyrically of the Black Eyed Peas song with the same name (well, Where is the Love?) - though this song is a lot chiller and feels smoother. BRAVEHEART was the first single, and it was the song that drawn me to NERDHEAD. It's best described as an orchestra ballad meets rap. Sounds like a strange mix, but the end result is beautiful. NEVER CHANGE is like listening to So'Fly all over again. TOKO is back! I won't lie, this song makes me cry. It is a break-up song, but even more it's about telling someone you care about to never lose the amazing qualities that you first fell in love with. もう一度 ～GET UR DREAM～ is a bit more upbeat and like So'Fly again. Feeling so fun, and again with TOKO!
