Korn and Mudvayne

Last night I went to see the above show at ricoh colusiem at exhibition place. My neck is sore from head banging and my voice sounds like Im boiling nails when I talk, so all in all a fucking awesome show.

Mudvayne played for a full hour and Korn played for two hours.....my only criticism of Korn's set is that they focussed on the new album (sux) way too much. They opened with some old shit "It's On" and "Clown" respectively. Since Korn recently had a guitarist quit I was wondering how they would work out as a 4 piece.....no problem at all....in order to compensate they brought out a backup band made up of characters from the liner notes of the new album....there was a guitarist, backup vocalist, a second drummer and a synth player.....there was nothing like the sight of a guy in a bunny costume screaming into a mic and a wolf rocking out on the keyboard.

I think the highlights of the set for me were Munky (the guitarist) solo in the middle of the set, the new song tearjerker, as Jon Davis' vocals were incredible live in that song and of course the closer "Blind"

It was my 1st time seeing Korn and 5th time seeing Mudvayne. Anyway, time to recover from laste nite....peace y'all
