comments - this is definately a good christmas album. To me, christmas isn't as much holiday "jingle bells" music etc etc, but more of an opportunity to make my fam&friends feel happy [ie. gift giving, being supa nice, appreciation towards them, and much much more]. well, this single gives off the same feeling when i listen to it. Nice and jazzy, the kind of feeling when you look out the window when it snows and its just so irrisitably beautiful and you just look away. meg has some english lines in christmas rose, the title track, and it isn't exactly the most accenuated english in the world, but i still love this song. Usually I find japanese music kind of annoying .. because of the way japanese sounds, but this single is not annoying at all. christmas rose is full of longing reminsince, her voice not extremely low, but medium range enough to pull of a smooth jazz feel. my favorite things is a cover song of "these are my favorite things .. i dont know the original songs' name, but i'm pretty sure most people would know what i'm talking about. Actually, i take back what i said about her english being sucky. She gets most of the words accented right, and her accent isn't really that horrible (amazingly omggg). This is entirely in english, and what i like best about is the saxaphone accompiament! Moon River also uses a lot of sax accompiament in it, but its more jazzy-lounge music. Is this another cover song? 'cuz she sings it completely in english also, but I don't know of a xmas song that has this name, but then again i'm not that familiar with much xmas music. Recommended if you want a quaint jazzy christmas single for your library!
