[MEILIN] (SINGLES) MEILIN STORY, SAVE MY SOUL, INNOCENT GIRL
MEILIN first started her singing career when she was only 14 in her native country of Korea. At that time she debuted under the same of som2 but made little impact. As handpicked by Avex Entertainment, she was labelled to be the next BoA so she moved on to debut in Japan, under Pony Canyon (SS501, John-Hoon), and so far has released three hit singles, Innocent Girl, SAVE MY SOUL and Candy Boy. For 2008, still very young, only at 18, she returns home in hopes of turning over a new leaf and maybe she might be the next female sensation after Wonder Girls, KARA or SNSD.
Personally I prefer the Korean release , Meilin Story ~ the Japanese stuff is way too much like BoA. But I can genuinely say this girl can sing. Her live performances (I think she's had a total of 4 performances so far for this single) are GREAT! She can actually sing live and dance and sound good - all at the same time.
