Yet Another Concert Update...
So I figured I'd write a quick little entry before I leave for Chicago and you guys won't hear from me for 2 whole weeks. It's going to be awesome not having to deal w/ AZ drama. I can't wait.
Anyways, last night was yet another awesome concert. Fall Out Boy and Armor For Sleep down at The Mason Jar. Besides the fact that the doors didn't open until 30 minutes after they were supposed to, there was no A/C and the place was JAM Packed, it was a good time. I was actually surprised by the openers, Name Taken, they really impressed me. So much so that I was going to buy their CD, but then I forgot. Must of been the crowd surfers to the head. Anyways, Bayside played next and I wasn't digging them too much. They were alright, but I liked Name Taken better. After them Armor For Sleep played and they were really good. I was very impressed. After hearing the CD, I wasn't expecting a whole lot from their live show, but it was very good. They had a lot of energy and it was just fun. Lastly was Fall Out Boy and they blew me away. They had sooooo much energy and put on a fantastic show. Sooo much fun. Joe and Pete were jumping into the crowd and shit. Way cool, and of course I had to reach out and touch both of them. HaHa. I'm a freak. I should take a tally of everyone I've touched in a band. Anyways, they played all of my favorites, which was killer and some new stuff. Very cool. I'm in love with those guys and I can't wait til they come back in October with Taking Back Sunday and Matchbook Romance. I'll be there 3 hours early ;0)
After the show, I had to come to the aid of Mike. HaHa. I'm pretty sure we'd be lost without each other. He had the problems this time, I got to listen. HaHa. It's all good though, he's fine and Lara just has a problem w/ phones apparently ;0)
I got to sleep in today. Very Good. Then tonight Mike, Corina, Tracy and I all went out to Ra and had a fucking awesome time. When you get the 4 of us together it's pure pandamonium. Anyways, we were basically there for 3 hours eating sushi and crackin jokes about anyone and everything. It was so fun. I love those 3, gotta be the best Coworkers ever. HaHa. Anyways, afterwards Tracy and Corina bought me some shit for my plane ride tomorrow and we all went home and then Mike and Lara came to visit. I finally got my Sword! HaHa. It's very cool. Lara is the coolest for bringing it back for me.
So here I sit writing this little entry and by this time tomorrow I'll be in fucking Chicago bitches. I can't wait. I better get to bed, I'll see you all in 2 weeks.
