Awesomeness Ensues...
Wow. So the past few days have been amazingly good. Yes. That good.
HaHa, anyways. Adrie's back from San Diego and I've got my whore back to entertain me. All is well in the ghetto. Gotta represent the hood up in hurrr. ;0) We took a nice little adventure to the Mall with Casey and Ciara this afternoon...Always fun. Anyways, not much else happened other than that so I guess I'm required to give you a recap of the past few days.
So, Thursday was the Waking Ashland concert and those boys are awesome. Adam, Candace and I went down to the Modified to see them for the 2nd time. We got there early and talked to Jonathan, their lead singer, and he remembered us from the last show. Always cool. He even knows us by name, aren't we special. HaHa. Anyways, their set was really good like always and then afterwards we got them to play an acoustic set outside for us. That definitely made the night. It was soooooo good. Jonathan and Ryan are the coolest guys for coming out and playing for the 10 or so of us that were out there. Another reason why these guys totally kick ass. Anyways, that was my awesome Thursday.
We're going to skip Friday, Saturday and Sunday because nothing exciting happened. I slept A LOT and worked. Really, quite exciting.
So, Monday rolls around and it's quite possibly the highlight of my entire month. The Straylight Run Concert! Oh My God. That's all I can say. It was fucking amazing! I'm in love with their demos, but seeing them live was so much better. It was insanely good. Anyways, Blake and I went down to the Venue of Scottsdale and caught the show. We ended up seeing Elisa there, who I haven't seen in like a year, so that was pretty awesome. We ended up hanging out all night and even got the chance to talk to Will, their drummer. That was fun. Anyways, we sat through the really bad opening set and finally it was time for Straylight. Soooo Good! That's all I can say. Michelle is gorgeous and John is an amazing performer. It was so fun. We left after their set and went around by the buses and saw John, but he was with his Girlfriend so we figured we wouldn't be ultra obsessive fans and let them do their own thing. Maybe next time. We did scream to John and Michelle from the crowd and got Smiles and Nods, so that was all the recognition we needed. At least they heard us and appreciated it. HaHa. I'm a freak, I know.
Anyways. I'm done writing. I've got nothing left to say. My last piece of advice is that you should all go and listen to Straylight Run. They will knock you out. And for everyone that's too lazy...Here's a link. Enjoy Bitches.
