Well Haven't You Heard the Rumors
Everyone at my university is reacting to the recent celebrity gossip about a certain Miley Cyrus enrolling next year. Emotions are ranging from anger and embarrassment to those who are simply giddy to possibly spot a celebrity of our generation in the area. And unfortunately, some of the people in the former camp are attacking the latter for being so clueless or just desperate to meet someone, anyone who is famous.
What do I think about this? Andy Warhol said "In the future, everyone will be world famous for 15 minutes." Miley's had her time in the spotlight and maybe you'd like to think that she'd trying to settle down and lay low for a while. I'm not a fan of her work mind you but everyone has a right to apply and enroll in higher education. If I don't want to associate with her, I don't have to since she will most likely be in another major that isn't related to mine.
