(no subject)
So I just got back from auditioning for JEKYLL & HYDE at Airport Playhouse. And let me just say that I had a good experience. Not that many people were there...it was just 9 girls and only 3 guys. The girls got to sing an excerpt of "Someone Like You" from the show, which I somewhat know from seeing it this past year at Port Jefferson. A few of them sounded pretty good while some others were mediocre IMO. When it was my turn to sing it, I didn't really feel that nervous. Then it was the guys' turn to sing a song from the show. Two out of three sounded good...not bad. We also did some dialogue...the long-haired guy who I auditioned with was pretty talented, so to speak. But there were only four lines that I had to say because I was trying out as Lucy. All I need to do is find out tomorrow if I'll get a callback...I hope I do.
And other than that, I just bought Christina Aguilera's new album!! The songs so far are FABULOUS! It's exceeded my expectations...she's done it again!
