(no subject)
So, I'm about 95% sure that I'm going on a missions trip over spring break! Wooooh! I'm going down to Mississippi to help with the Katrina effort. I leave on Feb 28th (only IUP would start spring break in feburary), and come back the following Sunday the 8th late in the evening. At first I was feeling kinda hestitane about it, but now I'm getting really exctied!
I do now have a lot I need to do now that I was planning on doing over sprong break. I need to read two "supplementry" reading for Westren Civ II class (not har reads, its just doing them), probably start another English book, and who knows what else. Thanks to English, I can't come home the weekend of the 20-22, which I wanted to so I could get stuff that I need. But nooooooo, I have to see a play friday the 20th. I'm considering though eithier just leaving saturday morning or have on of my parents come up to Indiana on Saturday and go shopping with me/bring stuff from home that I need.
I'm really happy I'm going. I wasn't looking forward to a week of sitting at home/or working, wasting my money at sheetz 5 times a day. And, even though it looks like its starting to warm up, Its going to be A LOT warmer down in Mississippi then central PA.
I have a lot of homework I need to do. My roommate left for the weeekend, so I turn the heat up to like 70+. Bliss. I need to go shower, get somethings copied, eat with Danny, and see what he's planning on doing today.
As grusome, tiring, and hard this semester is turning out to be, I honsetly still love it here, and all the oppurtuinties I'm getting here.
