i woke up soooper early today and headed down to the pool for some UW hockey fun! nyan that huge (literally) cheaterbug told me to be there at 10 sharp and i was only 10mins late which was a good thing because it actualyl started at 11 -_-
anyawy, we were all helping at this tri-uni organised outdoor activities thing called AdJam, which actually is a yearly thing that's organised for JC ODACs (yeah deprived MG-AC girl like myself had to ask what ODAC stood for, why were we not informed that this was acctually a CCA?!!?) which actually stands for Outdoor Activities Clubs, or something like that.
with the dreadful weather we've been having the past few days, the pool was akin to a huge chiller box. it was teeth-chatteringly cold, i sat by the pool for 15minutes before inching myself in. however i still managed to get a mean sunburn, even with the sky overcast and the intermittent drizzle. zzz.
if anyone's interested, BELOW are pictures of underwater hockey! basically you play with mini sticks and a puck on the floor in the pool, most times when we play, it looks like a feeding frenzy.
oh yeah, the pictures above are from some other time we played, when the sun actualyl was out. but anyway, we played against/with some of the
s.u.h.c.e.r.s (that is seriously their association name) and we got rightly thrashed. i haven't been so tired and so breathless in so so long, it was good playing with them though cos they play with formations and tactics, all things we neglect to do when we play amongst ourselves.
dive team people! the girl on the far right's weikong's sister, she's in smu law..
with the suhcers hahahha they're really friendly, they keep asking us to go down and play with them. the guy in the first row, far right, doesn't look it but when he's half naked he really reminds me of james bond, to be specific, sean connery as james bond. his body is WAHHH awesome.

besides that, life has been good. i got back all my soc sci results and they've been very inspiring. the biz ones are going to be the shits so i'm just revelling in this probably shortlived sense of adequacy.
ever since i've stepped into SMU i haven't done a single module i've enjoyed and this sem i kind of felt that i finally stopped MUGGING and started LEARNING. even though ironically i've probably been more consistently studying, i feel like school was much much less of a chore.
maybe it's due to external motivating factors (ahem m) , but i think i made a huge mistake choosing business as my first degree..
but too late for regrets!
anyway, shanglin just showed me this really cool website with lots of UWH related stuff, damn informative, so
BYE!
