Today, my theater class went to see a guest speaker. He informed us that the reason we can't do, or aren't good at things was because we had "toads in our brains". By this he meant that all of our obstacles were mental. He said "Shaq" (a basketball player, ArtFags) couldn't shoot free throws because he had a toad in his head that was preventing his success. This is a lie. "Shaq" can't hit free throws because he is enormous, 7 feet tall, and uncoordinated. It has nothing to do with toads. Next, he told a long story about how there is a skunk in his cabin (yes, cabin. he is from Kentucky) that wouldn't leave." It took me maybe 2 minutes for me to understand his metaphor for his metaphor. Ok, ok, I get it. Skunk in the Cabin, Toad in the Brain, It's all in your head. Blah, blah, blah. I see. Everyone else sees. Now move on.
Nope. He continued on, with his story, for 45 minutes, asking the group what they would do in the situation. Most people said they would shoot it. One girl said she would eat it for breakfast the next morning. At this point, he left the story unresolved.
He was a clever one. Because he can make up anything he wants about the toads, you can't disagree with him, because if you disagree, you have a toad in your head about whatever you disagree with him about. He never explained how to get rid of the toads. I hope they paid him well.
I really want to go back to Harmony, but my parents probably aren't going to let me.

So, North, I suppose.
I've learned some things recently:
* Pokemon is cool again.
* I really like ugly 70's wallpaper, furniture and appliances.
* Never leave your house. It's just not worth it.
* I really want a HoverTrain. A train that flies. Damn.
On Saturday, Tub Ring played at the Buskirk. They were awesome.
Awww....
I guess that contradicts the not leaving your house part. Oh well.
