fuchi let me play her guitar today! She got to come home early because tennis was cancelled X3~
Anyway, so like, I played for... about half an hour, distracted by her and youtube taking a break inbetween. I managed to play a G? major scale... and give myself a blister already! XD
PLUS. I found sheet music (aka tabs, I am enlightened because guitarists are above using the term "guitar sheet music"... I kid. XDD Tabs are actually really helpful.) for Ashita Tenki ni Naare, by Miyavi~! If anyone wants links, I could probably find a way to upload it. :3
It's over my head and it's going to kill me, but I'm going to try anyway~! Wish me luck~~~ <3!
I also found that I quite enjoy my math class. THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS STATEMENT.

Okay... so yeah, I didn't expect it to be a piece of cake...
But you know? I thought that four years of violin might lessen the strain a little bit! XD
It... it also probably would have helped... had I not started off with sheet music from Miyavi. Miyavi is crazy-awesome at the guitar. I = newb. Do not mix.
Also... strings! XD There's an F# string! That's so weird! XDD
Anyway, I think I've got the basic notes down, and even if I forget, I can play by ear... and the metronome tuner thing.
Everything's... just so different! XD I seriously thought violin experience would help. IT DOESN'T. The "curved fingers" line that they always drilled into my head DOES NOT WORK ON THE GUITAR. Guitar requires flat fingers? as far as I've seen... and I think I've seen a fair amount. XD
I spent an hour playing four full chords. 8D
