[Report] Fanime 2010!
Two days late,
But hey wait-
It's time to give
A con update!
THUUURS-Day Zero,
Started in the morning,
We all headed off to get Kara before things
Got to The Five-
A long, long drive-
With cows and cows and cars and HI!
Jerkface, hey, what the hey!?
Cutting us off and then suddenly brak-
Ing didn't help you!
But seriously, that wasn't necessary dude. Even if we were like 'whoa.'
Anyway - some hours pass
After getting food and gas,
Disney been blasting all the way
To San Jose, got there,
Checked in, ran down to say hey
To Panda and co, sneaking into the reg. line
Then again, it's not like anyone mind-ED
Got out again to meet up with friends
And the rest of the night was pizza and ice cream and laughs.
FRIDAY was the start of the convention,
Cosplayers, fans, eveyrthing you can mention
started appearing in the hallways,
Waiting Always
For the dealer's and the alley to open up. Yayz.
A busy setup went on until two
Then the floodgates opened
And everyone went 'COOL'
Well, not exactly. There were lookers and comments and people oogling Soundwave
(My Soundwave brings all the boys to the yard- NO)
Random fact: half of the con crowd (I realized) is Filipino.
So yes, cosplay, art looking, wandering around,
And then after seven hours, it all closed down
But Da Ninja and I went out for some burgers (THE COUNTER)
And man. Those were good burgers.
SATURDAY - a repeat of Friday!
Almost, not quite, okay so it was CROWDED.
More looking, more buying and talking with peoples
OH HEY lots o' hang out times behind the table!
Personal space was never really had,
But seriously - it wasn't all too bad.
Random happenings happened on by,
And then Monkey King, blue Sonic, and the Sack Guy!
I totally forgot what else went on,
But I think I need to save space and so on-
SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY was a day of Eveelutions,
I don't have the pictures for that, try the others!
So many pics taken while at the table,
It was strange how much attention we were able
To get while just sitting around,
Chowing down,
Always wearing a half-frown (sort of)
But hey, stuff was done and made
And then changed to Hong Kong, nothing else changed
More laughing followed with dinner at Joe's,
And when we went back to the con it was oh
So weird, as usual, walking about
With people singing songs and dancing on sign posts.
I don't know, that's just how it was,
And then we fell asleep just because
MONDAY was the last day, last day of the con
So everyone was slashing prices on everything drawn,
WE HAD NACHOS. PILED ON NACHOS.
I just wanted cheese, but that's how it goes.
Dealer's Hall closed first, another wave came in
Another guy collapsed and was still conscious
All in all, it ended, and we all cleaned up
Hung out for a bit and took a group pic
Then said our goodbyes before the next trip
Already checked out from the room and 'sup
Sir, need the car so we can head on home
There's the car, there's the luggage, and then Sonic's,
The protesters on the corner, I couldn't hear their quips
But we went on down, back down on The Five
Gas got, sky so dark while Disney played
Made it back in one piece, dropping Kara at her stay
Before heading back into our East LA.

I think I'm giving up on this verse thing right now
