Day 3
Artist Alley traffic was pretty much the same with friends dropping by every once in a while.
hinatawakaba got us lunch that day, too. And after we were all done switching off for errands stuff and laughing behind the tables, we all headed over to Japanese Town for curry. Plus, we found out that Kevin and Elvis knew each other anyway! That was funny. IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL!!! :D :D :D
Anyway, the wait felt longer than it was, but I don't know exactly. Good company, good conversations, even if most of it revolved around roleplaying mushes and ideas and whatever. Hey, it was fun. After that,
doomlimit had to go, and the rest of us forged onward to the Little Tokyo Shopping Center for karaoke. We only sung for an hour, but it was fun. And then we spent some time at the arcade before it closed up. Goodbyes were had, drop offs, and then home.
Day 4
We went to church first, and then we drove back over to the convention center with lunch. SLLLLOOOOOW TIMES, and less monies. But it's okay, I guess. We thought AA closed at the same time the Dealer's Room did, but WE WERE ALL WRONG. :D So, another hour was spent sitting and selling work at lowered prices. Clean up finally came around, and we said GOOD BYE to our friends and table mates. And now we're back home and I'm just feeling lethargic.
The things that sort of annoyed me the most were that people would look and not buy. Well, there's a reason behind it, but it...was mostly that. So our mentality became "LESS LOOKING MORE BUYING." It didn't work. I did do three commissions during the con: one small badge-sized one, and then two bigguns for the same person. That was cool, but I should really have larger markers to fill in large, black spaces. It was painful doing the coloring with a 0.8 size pen nub. Other than that, we didn't do too badly. Maybe
disposableninja can give you a better idea of how that went. Or not.
....Now to do my other stuff before I forget.
