Portlandia
I went to Portland last weekend with Dikong, Ate LJ and Kuya Christian. It was Kuya Christian's birthday, so we went to an "adult-themed bar" with "female entertainers", of which Portland is notoriously known for.
It was... interesting. I was amazed at how many intimate body parts I saw in one night. Some were bored, tired, probably just wanted to go home, have a long bubble bath, and read Nancy Drew books to sleep. Some were very excited and happy to be there, though, and they demanded attention when they were on the stage. They knew how to dance every last dollar on your straight ass.
There were a few non-straight people there, but they were mostly lesbians, and they were rowdier than the straight guys. There was a pair of twin entertainers who both looked like Lady Gaga. They started dancing together, before separating to milk the men two at a time, and then coming back together before the dance ended.
The rest of the weekend we spent trying out the local cuisine (i.e. food trucks), and hanging out at Powell City of Books, which is an awesome place and I could spend days in that wonderful bookstore!
