Bisita Malaya
Malaya went back home to Davao for Christmas vacation. Now that classes are back, she had to fly back to Manila. She has been staying at the De Guia's beautiful house in Teacher's Village whenever she was in Manila.
She has been Kabu's serious girlfriend for about a year now, and they are so serious, they are trying their damndest to have a baby.
Marella and I picked her up in the airport (because Kabu is currently in Korea for a festival). On the way back to QC, somewhere in front of Nepa Q-Mart, this crazy homeless guy suddenly ran across the width of EDSA, stopping directly in front of my car to do a little dance, before dodging the rest of the cars and crossing the other side.
It was crazy. I slammed the brakes so hard we didn't know what was happening for a time. We were thinking that we almost died because of a crazy guy! But at the same time, we felt kinda bad for him, being crazy and all alone.
We spent some time with her in a cafe along Maginhawa, and dropped her off to their house in Teacher's Village, and dropped Marella off along Commonwealth to make her way home. It was great to have Malaya back.
