OK, so essentially: Imagine three cars, lined up, stopped while on the off-ramp from the island expressway. Traffic is coming by on the left, and we three cars are merging into said traffic. I am in the back. Car 1 moves into the flow of traffic, as there are no more cars in the way. Car two pulls up (assumedly to head into traffic), car 3 (me) moves up, as there is no more traffic as I can see (because I am looking at it, thinking that car two is already long ahead of me).
Car two is, in fact, stopped for very little reason, about 10-15 feet in front of me. I don't know why, but I couldn't have been out of first gear yet.
Sadly, being that car two was a Ford F150 Pickup truck, and Car Three was a 1985 saab hatchback.... I suffered far worse damage than the pickup truck (which only had a scuffed bumper).
So, uh. Anyone want to buy a 1985 saab carcass? Anyone selling an old saab 900 manual transmission?
