Rain.
Calm, cleansing, relaxing. Rain.It was coming down hard; almost blinding, and very nearly deafening. But he wouldn't have had it any other way. It reminded him of Barcelona, when he happened across that Exorcist with the dunce cap and soccer ball. What had his name been? Daisya Barry? Such a mouthy young lad

So he just stood atop the roof of an abandoned building, under an umbrella - Hitsugaya would scold him otherwise - and just glanced up at the dark, cloudy sky. He was content to stay like this until his body told him otherwise, but.
He could sense someone approaching. Instantly, he went on high alert as he activated his Sharingan. He waited a minute before glancing down at the street from the corner of his eye. A few more seconds and Sasuke realized who it was down there.
...Tyki. He recognized him easily from one of the events, thanks to the dark skin. But the way his hair was...
Well. Wasn't this just lovely.

There were eyes definitely following him now, however, and he could only venture guesses as to who they belonged to. It wasn't Walker; as foolishly heroic as the boy could be, he wasn't very adept at subtlety. Perhaps it was the Icey Boy. Or maybe even the Scarred Boy.
He kicked at a pebble on the ground and fished around for a cigarette, lighting it in a small pocket of rejected air to prevent the rain from putting out his light, and took a long drag.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are~"

Sasuke didn't know if using even the smallest amount of chakra would draw attention to him, either, but he knew that with this rain, not using it would get him noticed. He moved carefully and silently, but also slowly toward the chimney of the house he was on.
"..." Crimson eyes continued to watch, narrowing just slightly in confusion as they caught sight of the cigarette staying lit, despite the heavy downpour. ...How the fuck was that even possible?

If he noticed the use of chakra or not, Tyki didn't show it. The place was strange enough as it is, with different pings and rings. Different objects with different properties. Things here weren't quite all that they seemed. There had been things that Tyki had been able to phase through that he knew he shouldn't have been, and vice versa; things he'd been surprised to find himself stepping through.
No, it was best to look unaffected. Best to keep it casual. Keep it calm.
Tyki came to a stop just under the chimney of the nearest building, and took another long drag, letting his head roll back onto his shoulders again. Something on the roof caught his eye, a figure ducking just out of sight, and Tyki's lips curled into a wicked sort of smirk around his cigarette. He chuckled very softly.
"Found you."

Slowly, silently, Sasuke turned so that his back was to the open air, facing the chimney. He'd have to be careful about this, as flashy as the move was going to be. But it would buy him some time, despite giving his identity away.
Beggers can't be choosers, though.
Sasuke placed a hand on the brick in front of him, and within seconds there was a flash of lightning, hitting the structure and destroying it within the blink of an eye, scattering the debris everywhere. Smoke from the blast didn't last more than five seconds, but it was all the time Sasuke needed in order to drop down to street level and take cover behind a different house.
Sorry Tyki, he wasn't going to pass up the Cat & Mouse game.

But, it was impressive, to say the least. Whoever he was, Tyki decided, he wanted a game. He very well was asking for one.
This was the fun part, watching the prey squirm, to watch it scramble. Tyki remained calm and still while the debris scattered everywhere, allowing the bits and pieces to pass through him without even blinking. If anything, he seemed more concentrated on his cigarette, which went out when it was struck by a flying chunk of brick. Come now, he wasn't through with that, yet.
He fished around for another cigarette, calmly watching as aftermath of the blast settle around him, curious to see what happened next.

When the debris settled, nothing happened. A little curious despite himself, Sasuke shifted just slightly toward the hole in the brick wall to peek through, watching Tyki briefly. He didn't seem to have moved at all, despite the blast. That couldn't have been possible, with how big some of those chunks around him were.
Something was off about him, and his gut was telling him that it wasn't a good thing at all.

It was probably a good thing that he couldn't hear Sasuke's breathing over the rain and crumbling debris. Not that he was really even listening for it. It wouldn't be fun, after all, if he couldn't give just a little chase. Tyki bent down to strike a match along the cobblestone, having rejected the water in order to allow the match to light, and lit the cigarette as soon as he brought himself to a full stand.
"Come now, some of us are a little too old for Hide-And-Go-Seek," his tone was mocking, teasing. Tyki turned in the direction of one of the nearby buildings and began strolling toward it, searching for the figure sticking to the shadows.

"Really, now, this is getting taxing."
In actuality, moving the thing had been less about the possibility for his stalker to be hiding behind the statue as it was to keep up appearances. Tyki knew that whoever it was wouldn't be there, but it wasn't hard to guess which direction he'd taken off in. He simply wanted whoever it was to think that he was unaware.
"Tease."
It was both a strange and appropriate word for the moment. Tyki held up his hand, and a butterfly unfolded over his palm, taking flight and flitting around him. He smirked at it and gave his head a slight nod just before the thing took off.
A carnivorous butterfly golem. It would go to where the fresh meat was, track down his prey for him.
Tyki followed the thing as it began flitting in the direction behind him, humming a quiet song.

"The hell..." It was muttered under his breath, and Sasuke moved to relocate, to replan this. He needed time, and that butterfly thing didn't seem to be willing to give him any.
Absently, though, Sasuke reached back into his pouch for the only scroll in it, and as he pulled it out, his PCD slipped out and clattered onto the ground. Well, fuck. There was no time to stop and stare at the damned thing; he just left it and started to move back further down the alley.

When the PCD fell to the ground, however, both the butterfly and Tyki stopped in their tracks. The butterfly bobbed in its place, as if waiting for another command.
Tyki just grinned.
So. It wasn't the Icey Boy, then. How interesting. It was either going to be someone he least expected, or someone he didn't know at all.
He liked where this was going.
The butterfly moved before Tyki did, starting right toward Sasuke.

It was stupid, really, because Tyki was right there, and Sasuke was practically against the alley's dead end wall. His heart had never calmed down, and he could almost swear it was beating ever faster now.
Well. Time to find out the heart way what Tyki was capable of, and to see if he really was Mikk.
Reply
"Come now, didn't anyone tell you it was rude to destroy another man's property?"
He wasn't completely sure, but he thought the other fellow in the alley was Saucey. And, if that was the case, that was a very interesting development. Tyki continued down the alleyway, smirking.

"Sorry, I don't like creepy black butterflies." Just wait. He knew Tyki wasn't going to do anything. Yet, anyway.

Rather, he just came to a stop a few arms' length away, casting the sword an almost bored sort of look. He sighed a little, reaching inside his overcoat and taking out, of all things, an apple.
"Really now, aren't swords just slightly overdone, Saucey?"
