♬ Modern day times, lives in Washington, D.C. as a piano teacher to the wealthy. Would have gone on to play professionally if it weren't for his left arm being permanently damaged from being set incorrectly. It was broken after a scuffle in school about his father.
♬ Adopted Yu (Kanda) and Lavi on his own from the orphanage when they were two years of age and currently they're ten, Allen was 20 at the time of their adoption. He was going to adopt the boys with Lenalee - his high school sweetheart - but she had to move with her brother to a different state. Allen loves and spoils the boys as much as he can, to him they're his own flesh and blood.
♬ Has managed his father's (Cross) debts from a very young age as the man goes in and out of every casino he can.
♬ The power and heat go out a lot of the time but Allen always gets food on the table, Kanda to his sword lessons and Lavi buried in his passion for new (at least to him) books.
♬ Sometimes makes ends-meat by gambling himself, he's very good in cards but never goes to casinos.
♬ Loves his father dearly which is why he tries so hard to keep him out of jail. Despite the fact that it seems like Cross cares very little for his son and grandchildren.
♬ Allen could probably be high- or mid-middle class due to his occupation but because of paying off Cross' debts all the time their class is low-middle class.
♬ Allen's mother (Maria) had a drug addiction and left when Allen was young, he took her maiden name, though she did have sense enough to put most of Cross' old money (rich family) into a trust in Allen's name. A trust fund that he uses for the children more than himself in emergencies.
♬ Hair is naturally light blonde and he keeps it long in memory of his mother - what few memories he has of her - and the mark on his face is a birthmark.
♬ NOTE: This fact is outside of the DR. Is currently seeing someone named Sasha though he hasn't yet introduced Sasha to anyone in his family since the other comes from money. Sasha is not one of his clients, however, Allen will never cross that line.
