Results of Horror Hall for Chase:
- Made to walk too early on his legs
Legs get tired more quickly if he's standing or walking for long periods of time without rest. Joints ache every time it gets cold, and his right calf sometimes cramps up badly.
- Seren being stuck here/evil construction
While he isn't sure how to handle Seren being a grown woman in the first place, he's even more unsure what to make of her being a harpy. Is she really a harpy? Some Changling that Tyki gave to him knowing she'd turn into something like that? Now more than ever he doesn't want to see her grow up, not to have her turn out to be something like that. This is more than a father wanting to keep his "little girl" little.
- Forced to choose an alias and forget the rest
He doesn't want to choose a single life, he hates having to settle on one name unless it's his own. Having to live with one set of memories is a horrible thing, with the way that he was raised Chase is too used to having different kinds of lives in his head. To have not experienced them is an unusual and disconcerning thought, he doesn't like it and it sets him off center. If he had to be anyone, had to pick a life to go with - even with all the bad that happened - it would be his first name, his only name in his mind. The rest, all fifty-one are just what they are, aliases.
- Lost memories of his home
It felt like there was a hole in his head. Another hole that he felt and didn't like having. He knew he was supposed to remember things about his home, the buildings, the voices, the names. Something that had been with him ever since Fourteenth's lock broke. But all he had was a hole, another thing that he really really didn't like.
- Dear ones replaced in home scene of riot
Perhaps that he is the one getting too close to people here, too attached, why else would they be replacing those that had been in his heart for years (even without him knowing). Kuzu had done so many things for him and to see him replacing his dearly loved sister was hard. He didn't want to see the people that had come to replace his family (secretly) in the sorts of positions that he's powerless to prevent. A past that he can't prevent. Chase doens't want to feel that, ever.
- Aiden and Allen
He's not sure how to take Allen's preference of Aiden over himself. Somehow he knows instinctively that the sire will always get picked over him, people with longer and stronger connections. But to see it happen he's not sure how to take it. Especially considering who it was, a certain amount of loyalty but seeing it in person was a bit of a jolt. Made his own standing with Allen feel a lot weaker even if Allen tried to distract him with a kiss. He didn't need a kiss from either of them (regardless of being incarnations of the halls) to sufficently feed the vampire in need, didn't even understand why either of them thought he needed it. Didn't understand why Aiden thought he would accept a kiss from him with their past. Figments made up by the hall, but real enough that he's now unsure, trying harder to make himself a place with Allen, something that will blow up in his face for sure.
