The war between Fourteenth (Nea) and Millennium (Adam) has been going on for several months, with Millennium's forces pushing Fourteenth's back further and further toward his home tower. The Akuma, Millennium's main forces, are starting to slowly crumple under the power of Fourteenth's creations, the gryphons. It's still anyone's war and both Adept-magicians are pooling their resources for one big shebang at some point, when it will happen is still unknown.
Allen: 18 19
-Raised by Mana, a Healer (magically-gifted)
-Learned modern medicines (surgery, stitching, casting, etc)
-Lost Mana at age ten; went to Cross Marian, an exotic sort of healer
-Learned Cross's trade: healing the spirit, heart, and mind of patients
-This includes massages, dalliances in bed, becoming an ear/shoulder, bringing the best out of someone (making them realize it and believe it), and the arts of dressing someone up
-Heard of Fourteenth's war with Millennium and joined Fourteenth's side
-Became a tent-partner to Kanda, a black gryphon, and eventually his healer and the rest of the gryphons
-Clientele covers gryphons and humans alike
-Empathy-gifted; can easily read someone's mood, influence them
-Healer-gifted; can heal anything broken within the body magically
Kanda: 21
-black gryphon with a human form, rarely used
-Mage level: Master (one under Adept (highest))
-Can call parts of his gryphon form to his human one (ie wings, claws, etc) but is unable to call human ones to his gryphon one
-Created by Fourteenth like all gryphons, and is probably the greatest one
-Particularly badass in fights and always manages to take down his enemies and always returns
-Taunts his enemies and fights just a little flashy
-Can be very articulate while in gryphon form but can slip ('sss' and 'rrr' all the time)
-Follows Fourteenth out of loyalty and love for his creator, like most gryphons
-Leader of the gryphons; assists with any Wing, mostly Fifth
-Wasn't agreeable with having a tent-partner at first, but found Allen useful to keep around.

-Almost always draining herself when healing, must be watched.

-Small, dark brown gryphon of Fifth Wing with a rare human form
-Mage level: Journeyman
-Cannot do the side transformations like Kanda can
-Has blunted claws (more hand-like) and wears sharp man-made claws to attack the enemy
-Despite being picked on in the past, Alma is rather happy
-This is due to both Kanda and Allen helping him realize he's as great as the others.
-Loyal to and loves their creator, Fourteenth
-Slips 'sss' and 'rrr' all the time, ie: mapsss and rrready
